Outstanding Teen Competition & Judging
The competition has the same general criteria as the Miss New Hampshire and Miss America competitions. However, the Outstanding Teen competitions have a fitness routine, and they do not give a Social Impact speech.
A five to seven member panel of judges will judge all contestants in each area of competition. No Judge may serve on the panel if they are related to a contestant, has served as a teacher or mentor to a contestant, or has more than a passing acquaintanceship with any contestant. For local competitions, and during the Preliminary Competitions of the multi-night state competition, each Judge evaluates each contestant independently and marks his or her score sheet based on each competition, scoring from 1 - 10 points. The high and low scores for each competition are discarded.
