Outstanding Teen Eligibility Requirements
You must first win a local Outstanding Teen Title in order to participate in the Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen competition which will be held on Friday, February 18th (after school), Saturday, February 19th and Sunday, February 20th, 2022.
To compete in a local program you must:
NOTE: The Local Director will send you the candidate contract. However, if you need an accommodation under ¶2.7.8. of the contract, please contact the local director and copy her/him on the accommodation exhibit.
Before entering a local program, consider the following mandatory dates for local titleholders in the event that you capture the local crown:

If you meet the requirements and can commit to the dates above, check the list of local teen programs and deadlines.
To compete in a local program you must:
- Be at least 13 by the first day of the Miss NH's Outstanding Teen Program;
- Be no older than 18 years of age on December 31, 2022;
- Be a US citizen;
- Live or attend school full time in New Hampshire for at least the last six months prior to the competition; Some local competitions also have geographic restrictions - contact the local director for more information.
- Be in reasonably good health;
- Be able to meet the commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local and state programs;
- Be able to participate in the Miss NH's Outstanding Teen competition in Derry, NH February 18-22, 2022, and should you win the state title, be able to travel to Orlando, Florida in July or August 2022 for the Miss America's Outstanding Teen competition.

- Sunday 11/14/2021 - Deadline for contestant paperwork, talent registration, talent track, and contract, along with the entry fee, to be submitted to the Miss New Hampshire office
- Saturday 11/20/2021 - Contestant orientation at 12:00 noon, at Comcast, 676 Island Pond Road, Manchester.
- 1/15/2022 - Miss NH's Outstanding Teen Tea Party, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- 1/16/2022 - Rehearsal, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Dance Visions, Goffstown, NH
- 2/5/2022 - Rehearsal, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., Broadway North, Belmont, NH
- Miss NH's Outstanding Teen Competition Weekend - February 18-20, 2022 at Pinkerton Academy
