How has pageantry affected your life?
When my pageantry journey began nine years ago, I was reserved and shy. Through the Miss New Hampshire Program I have gained skills necessary to be confident and approachable, to present myself well at all times, hold conversations, answer spontaneous questions, maintain my composure, and hold my head high. In addition, I am able to pursue my goal of becoming a Physician Assistant due to the scholarships I have earned through competing. What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I am as comfortable in the outdoors as I am on a stage. I love riding my ATV through the mud, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and target shooting. What has been the most fun, craziest, or most unique job you have ever had?
My job at Canobie Lake Park! I had the best time hula hooping and dancing with guests, transforming into Molly the Mouse, and dressing up in a custom made prosthetic to scare people during Screeeemfest. I was also chosen to perform in“Thriller” during the Tribute to Michael Jackson show. If you had to give one piece of advice to the younger generation what would it be?
With the use of electronics on the rise, my advice to the younger generation would be to never stop communicating face-to-face. Take the time to have an electronic free lunch with family and friends or take a walk in the woods. Make sure to see and hear the world around you. There is so much to miss if technology becomes our only way of life and communication. |
