What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Something that would be surprising about me is that I am anything but the typical “Pageant Girl.” Along with participating in the Miss America Program I am a star basketball player. Last year I received the 2016 NH Division 4 Women's Basketball Player of the Year Award, along with the 2016 NEKKY Women's basketball player of the year, and a nomination to “Queen of NH Basketball.” What are your hobbies?
Living in the White Mountains of New Hampshire my hobbies range from a wide amount of outdoor activities. These activities including skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing in the winter months. During the warmer parts of the year you can find me hiking a 40,000 foot mountain, kayaking, or camping! What would you say has been your greatest experience?
My greatest experience has been touching the lives of students in the state of New Hampshire. Through my cyberbullying social media campaign I have been able to connect and reach out to hundreds of students relating and touching their lives for the better. How has pageantry affected your life?
Pageantry in the Miss America program has affected my life drastically and quite quickly. Coming from a small school I had a hard time finding people I could clique with a share common qualities. Through this organization I have been able to “find my people.” |
