If you had to give one piece of advice to the younger generation what would it be?
My advice to the younger generation is to put down the electronics! Pick your head up and be open to experiencing the world around you! It is better to put down the cell phones and notice others and enjoy the outdoors. Although it can be tempting to get stuck on the social media trend, I want to challenge our younger generation to spend a few hours each day venturing outdoors, trying out a new hobby or simply reading a book! List three qualities that you would like to be known for.
The three qualities I would like to be known for are my creativity, philanthropic spirit, and charismatic personality. I love to be creative with many aspects of my life, but I am truly passionate about fashion. Whether it’s styling my own outfits for an event or helping a bride pick out her whole wedding look, I truly love being able to express myself through fashion. Additionally, I have a deep interest in helping others especially helping those people who suffer from life-threatening allergies. Lastly, I hope everyone I come in contact with can appreciate my bubbly and charismatic personality. I hope I continue to make friends everywhere life takes me! What is your major in college / what interests you most in school?
My major in college is Communications. The aspects that interest me the most about my major also happen to be my favorite classes: Broadcasting and Public Speaking. Also, I find it interesting to study how humans communicate in different social forums. I genuinely enjoy being able to relay a message to a large audience. My greatest achievement was being crowned Miss Granite State. I had the best feeling after I won the title. It was a huge indicator that the work and effort I had been putting in was paying off. But more importantly, I knew my interview skills were improving, my talent was improving, and I was becoming more confident in my own skin. Not only am I thrilled to be representing the Granite State, I am also extremely excited to carry out more ideas and fundraisers to help people and spread awareness about life-threatening food allergies.
